Thomas E. Deichert, CFP^®

Tom is an accomplished wealth manager with four decades of experience in the financial services industry.  His unwavering commitment to client well-being has shaped his career and forms the foundation upon which Wealth Solutions by Design, the firm he founded, has been built. Tom’s personal approach is to treat each family and person with respect for their individuality, unique vision, and attributes.

Tom is motivated by helping clients identify opportunities, gain greater clarity around their financial options, and take meaningful steps toward their goals. Throughout his career, he has championed advisor independence, advocating for client-centered guidance.

Building strong client relationships is central to the performance that Tom has realized over his tenure. Taking time to understand the entirety of a person’s financial life and providing education, strategy, and perspective along the way helps align financial decisions with vision and priorities. Understanding the importance of accountability, Tom’s approach reflects his experience, professionalism, and commitment to serving clients.

After graduating from Central Washington University with degrees in Accounting and Finance, Tom worked as a staff accountant at the Weyerhaeuser Company. While working, he attended graduate school at night completing his MBA in 1989. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professional, Tom is committed to upholding CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct and takes a holistic approach to wealth management.

With extensive training and experience, Tom enjoys helping clients navigate financial decisions and gain greater clarity around their goals and priorities.

Tom lives in both Bremerton, Washington as well as Chandler, Arizona, married to his high school sweetheart, Peggy. A voracious reader, he also enjoys fitness, jazz music, being a foodie, and great wine! As founding trustees for the Deichert Family Shining Light Foundation, Tom, and Peggy hope to empower people to realize their unique God-given gifts and thereby their best lives.
